What Shipping Methods Are Available?

Trainspotters Ltd provides free Mainland UK shipping on all standard orders, via its network of third-party courier and delivery suppliers. For non-standard orders, we are happy to arrange shipping anywhere in the UK or the world, packing smaller items ourselves and arranging quotes for larger or fragile items. An example is the Communist Tube Light, which requires a specific crate and exclusive handling. Any dispatch or delivery times given are estimates only.

Do You Ship Internationally?

Trainspotters will happily arrange shipping to anywhere in the UK or the world, via Royal Mail for small items or couriers such as DPD, TNT and DHL, and ground freight for larger crated or palletised items. For non-Mainland UK shipping, a DAP (Delivered At Place) service is used, meaning buyers outside Mainland UK are the importer and may be charged local duties and taxes at customs clearance.

How Long Will It Take To Get My Package?

Mainland UK orders typically use a next-day service, though 2-3 working days should be allowed for disruptions. International orders take 5-7 working days by air freight or 5-10 working days by ground freight, with customs clearance time out of our control.

What Payment Methods Are Accepted?

Online orders accept all major credit cards and PayPal, with an automatic receipt and office acknowledgment within 72 hours. Invoiced orders use a paperless system with secure payment links accepting major credit cards or PayPal.

Is Buying On-Line Safe?

As with all online purchasing there is an element of risk, and customers should follow usual online safety practices and contact their bank with security concerns. Customers are advised to use the direct payment links on invoices, which are secure and instant, rather than bank transfers.

How Can I Cancel Or Change My Order?

To amend an order, contact Trainspotters immediately. Adjustments are made where possible, but if work is underway or the order has shipped, the Returns & Refunds policy and Terms & Conditions apply.

Do I need an account to place an order?

No account is required. Orders can be placed directly via the website, or by contacting Trainspotters for guidance on buying options.

How Do I Track My Order?

Shipping details are passed to the courier, who typically contacts the customer directly by text or email with tracking information. Customers can contact Trainspotters with any tracking questions.

How Can I Return a Product?

To arrange a return, contact Trainspotters immediately, referring to the Returns & Refunds policy and Terms & Conditions of trade.
