Vintage Mek Elec Desk Mounted Light (2 Arm)

A vintage articulated engineers light that mounts to a desk or table.

In good original condition with characterful wear and tear, lightly beeswaxed metalwork.

Founded during 1931, MEK ELEK specialised in the manufacture of the Mekelite lathe light, primarily for use within the aircraft industry. Mekelite lights were available in a wide range of types and sizes for floor, bench, wall and ceiling applications - all versions being based around a similar family of components.

Each arm measures 25cm approx in length, the shade diameter is 14cm.

E27 Bulbholder.
Max 60w, LED bulbs recommended.
Supplied fully assembled and tested to CE & BS EN 60598 standards.
