VEB Leuchtenbau Tube Light - Original Paintwork

Designed in 1950 and produced in the 1960s–70s by VEB Leuchtenbau Wittenberg/Paul Mrosek KG Wittenberg, this glass and cast-aluminium light retains its original grey paint. Originally made to resist explosion, dust and gas in petrochemical plants, mines and power stations, predominantly in East Germany, it has been rewired with bespoke LED components and a grey powder-coated interior frame. The long enclosure suits a studio or kitchen island.

Vintage reclaimed communist-era strip light, retro fitted with dimmable LED tubes.
Completely rewired with new bespoke LED components.
The interior frame is powder-coated in grey.
Fitted with 2 no. bespoke dimmable T8 LED tubes in extra warm white (2200k) to reduce glare. Also available with non-dimmable tubes in options up to 6000k upon request.
Can also be supplied as pendants mounted on steel ‘Y’ profile wires, please see image.
