The Fawley 'Wigan' Bulkhead

These rare mid-century Heyes & Co Wigan bulkheads were salvaged from Fawley Power Station at the gateway to the Solent. Heavy cast-iron casings surround moulded prismatic glass, retaining excellent original condition beneath weathered Hammerite-type paint. The decommissioned brutalist site appeared in Star Wars and Mission Impossible, adding another layer to the provenance. Their imposing profile suits an entrance wall or stairwell.
